Mulligan Mall is a South African, community-focused marketplace for golf gear. We act as a marketplace facilitator: we host listings and checkout, coordinate shipping with partners, and provide dispute support. The agreement to buy and sell the goods is between the buyer and the seller; we are not the owner of listed items and we are not a bank or financial institution. Buyer payments are received by Mulligan Mall (via a third-party payment provider), are linked to the specific order, and are held temporarily until the transaction completes under our rules. Create an account, browse listings, then either pay the listed price (straight purchase) or submit an offer if the seller allows offers. For offers, use Calculate shipping in the offer flow so costs are included before you submit. Once the price is set (list price or an accepted offer), you complete checkout on Mulligan Mall only: your payment is processed by our payment partner and received by Mulligan Mall for that order (held temporarily until the transaction completes). Shipping is booked on the platform where it applies, and you pay any buyer protection fee shown in the checkout summary.

Buy now (straight purchase) means you pay the seller’s listed price and go straight to checkout. An offer is a price you propose when the seller allows offers; they can accept, decline, or leave it pending. If they set an auto-accept level, an offer at or above that amount is accepted automatically. Up to four active competing offers can be on one listing at a time—if the limit is reached, try again when an offer is withdrawn or declined. Nothing is final until checkout completes on Mulligan Mall under our payment protection rules.

When funds are released: when a buyer pays, the money is processed by our payment partner and received by Mulligan Mall for that order. It is held temporarily and tied to the transaction until it completes. Funds move to the seller’s wallet balance only after either the buyer confirms delivery (collection or delivery, as applies) or the confirmation period ends without a dispute—not when payment is first captured. That applies to both a straight purchase and an accepted offer. Mulligan Mall is not a bank; the wallet is not a bank account (see Terms and conditions).

Payment protection means the sale is facilitated on Mulligan Mall: checkout follows our rules so you are not asked to pay a stranger off-platform. Payments are processed by a third-party payment provider; amounts are received by Mulligan Mall and linked to your order. Mulligan Mall does not provide banking or financial services. Buyers pay a buyer protection fee where it applies—currently 3% on checkouts that use it, as shown in your summary before you pay. Full wording appears at checkout and in our Terms and conditions.

Shipping is arranged through Mulligan Mall where it applies: options and costs are calculated at checkout (and when you use Calculate shipping on an offer). Buyers and sellers are not required to share personal contact or address details with each other for the standard flow; delivery and collection details are shared with the courier partner as needed to fulfil the shipment. The seller packs the item and hands it to the courier at collection; both parties follow status and tracking from the dashboard. Mulligan Mall is not the courier—we integrate with logistics partners. Golf equipment packaging (quick guide)

  • Wrap items securely. Use bubble wrap generously—this is your best protection against damage.
  • Tape everything firmly. Use strong tape to secure the wrap and keep items tightly packed.
  • No movement inside. Items must not shift during transit—add padding where needed.
  • Protect club heads & shafts. Use headcovers or extra wrap to prevent scratches and snapping.
  • Bundle items safely. Group clubs together and separate heads to avoid damage.
  • Keep it compact & protected. Avoid oversized packaging and cover items against moisture.

Important: Bubble wrap + strong tape is the safest way to protect your item. Poor packaging may affect claims or returns.

Sign in, open Sell, add clear photos and an accurate description—listings must describe the actual item you own and can ship. Set your listed price for straight purchases, choose whether offers are allowed, and optionally an auto-accept level. Buyers always complete checkout on Mulligan Mall; their payment is received by Mulligan Mall for the order and held until completion rules are met. When you sell successfully, a transaction fee applies—currently 6% where shown (sell flow and My Wallet history). The percentage shown when you complete the sale is the one that applies. Buyer payments are held on Mulligan Mall for the order until completion; your wallet balance then reflects amounts due from completed transactions—it is not a bank account. Funds are released to your wallet after the buyer confirms receipt or the confirmation period ends without a dispute, as in our Terms and conditions.

My Wallet shows your wallet balance: amounts due to you from completed Mulligan Mall transactions after fees. It is not a bank account, stored-value product, or deposit facility. Withdrawal process: when you have available balance, you request a payout to your nominated bank account through the wallet flow. Withdrawals may take several business days, may be subject to verification and fraud checks, and a withdrawal fee may apply as shown on the wallet page. You’ll need verified bank details on file before we can pay out.

Refund conditions: if the item isn’t as described, arrives damaged, or doesn’t arrive, do not confirm receipt while you may still need a remedy. You must report the problem within the buyer confirmation window (before it auto-confirms). Confirming receipt can affect eligibility and timing for refunds. Dispute process: contact us through Contact Us; Mulligan Mall will review the case, may request evidence from both parties, and decide a fair outcome. Possible results include a full refund, partial refund, or rejection of the claim; our decision on platform disputes is final, as set out in our Terms and conditions.
