About Mulligan Mall
A proudly South African, community-run online golf marketplace built by golfers, for golfers.
Our Purpose
Mulligan Mall is a straightforward South African marketplace for golf gear—fair for buyers and sellers, whether you’re upgrading, clearing out clutter, or looking for a deal.
We host listings and handle checkout. You still buy from and sell to another golfer, with clear prices and rules that protect both sides.
Our Mission
To build South Africa’s most trusted golf marketplace—where community, fairness, and security come first.
At Mulligan Mall, it’s not just about the deal. It’s about keeping the game growing.
How It Works
The flow is the same from listing to delivery, whether a buyer pays the full asking price in one step (straight purchase) or you first agree on an offer.
Either way you get payment protection, buyer protection, and delayed settlement. The seller is paid only after the buyer confirms they have received the order.
The steps below walk through what happens.
Upload photos and details of your golf gear. Buyers can pay your listed price, and—if you allow it—make offers for you to accept.
Set your price for straight purchases, choose whether offers are allowed, and optionally set an auto-accept level so an offer at or above that amount is accepted automatically.
The buyer either pays with a straight purchase at the listed price, or you accept an offer (or an offer meets your auto-accept threshold). The sale stays pending until the buyer finishes checkout and pays, including any buyer protection fee, under our payment protection rules.
Mulligan Mall facilitates the transaction between buyer and seller, whether it began as a straight purchase or an accepted offer. Checkout happens on the platform under our payment protection rules. A shipping booking is created for you, without you having to exchange unnecessary private details with the other party.
You pack the item and hand it to the courier when they collect. You can track delivery from your dashboard.
When the buyer confirms they have received the order (collection or delivery, as applies), we release payment to the seller according to our rules. If something is wrong with the order, returns or disputes may apply as described in our terms of service.

Terms of service
These terms explain how you may use Mulligan Mall. They work together with our checkout steps, fee screens, and any notices shown on the site. Please read them before you buy or sell. Mulligan Mall does not give legal advice—for contracts or regulatory filings, speak to your own professional adviser.
1. Who we are and your acceptance
Mulligan Mall operates an online marketplace for golf-related goods in South Africa. By registering for, accessing, or using the platform, you agree to these terms of service and to any other policies we publish on the site (including how we handle personal information). If you do not agree, you must not use the service.
2. Our role (marketplace only)
Mulligan Mall is a facilitator. We provide listings, checkout, payment protection, shipping integration, wallet features, and related tools. Unless we say otherwise, the agreement to buy and sell the goods is between the buyer and the seller. We are not the buyer, the seller, or the courier. Sellers must make sure listings are accurate; buyers must read the listing and checkout totals before they pay.
3. Accounts and security
You must give accurate registration information and keep your login details safe. You are responsible for what happens under your account. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms, commit fraud, harass others, or harm the platform.
4. Listings and prohibited conduct
Listings must describe the actual item for sale. You may not list stolen or counterfeit goods, items you do not own or cannot send, or anything illegal. You may not manipulate prices, misuse offers, or try to avoid fees. We may remove listings or restrict accounts when we need to.
5. Purchases, offers, and checkout
Buyers may complete a straight purchase at the listed price or, where the seller allows it, make offers. A sale goes ahead only after checkout is finished on Mulligan Mall under our payment protection rules. The order details and amounts (including shipping and fees) shown at checkout are part of that transaction.
6. Fees, wallet, and settlement
Buyers pay a buyer protection fee on checkouts where it applies; the percentage and how it is calculated appear in the checkout summary (currently 3% where that rate applies). Sellers pay a transaction fee on completed sales; the percentage appears when you list and in your wallet history (currently 6% where that rate applies). The figures shown on the site when you pay or complete a sale are the ones that apply.
We use delayed settlement: money for the seller is released only after the buyer confirms receipt of the order, according to our processes—not only when the buyer first pays. Wallet balances, withdrawals, and any withdrawal fee follow the rules on My Wallet.
7. Shipping and delivery
Where it applies, shipping is arranged through the platform. Sellers must hand items to the courier as instructed. Buyers should track delivery and confirm receipt only when the order has arrived as expected. Risk and insurance follow the carrier’s terms and our operating rules, which may change from time to time.
8. Confirming receipt, returns, and disputes
Confirming receipt starts the process to pay the seller, where our rules allow. If an item is wrong, damaged, or missing, do not confirm receipt until the problem is sorted with our support team. Returns, refunds, chargebacks, and how long disputes take depend on the situation and these terms; we may hold or reverse money where the law allows while we look into a case.
9. Intellectual property and content
You give us permission to host and display content you upload (such as photos and descriptions) as we need to run the marketplace. You must have the right to post anything you upload. Our branding and software stay our property.
10. Disclaimers and liability
The service is provided “as is” and “as available” under the law. We do not promise that the site will always run without interruption. Under South African law as far as it allows, we limit our liability for indirect or consequential loss from using the marketplace. This does not override rights you cannot give up under the Consumer Protection Act or other law.
11. Changes and contact
We may update these terms. If you keep using the platform after changes take effect, you accept the updated terms, except where the law says we need your specific agreement. Important changes may be shown on the site or sent by email if we have your address.
Questions? Use Contact Us in the menu. These terms follow the laws of South Africa. You agree that South African courts may hear disputes, subject to consumer rights you cannot sign away.
